I last visited the WLBHS website a couple of days ago and read your account of school dinners. The aspect of school custard I liked best was its thinness. Like powdery water. My wife thinks I’m mad when it comes to my custard preferences. I’m impressed at the sustained, fine work you have put into the website over the years.
