My Dad sent me the link

Where are you from?

Moncton, New Brunswick....currently live in Mooresville, North Carolina

Do you have a Drag Car?

no, but my husband has a good competitor....a new ZO6 Corvette

Description of your Drag Car:

red and unbelievably fast

Tell us a Drag racing story:

My Dad's first race car that I really remember was a blue and white camaro. We spent every weekend at the race track during the summers when I was a kid; Pennfield, Lower Sackville, Oyster Bed Bridge. He graduated to front engine dragster and then rear engine dragster (The Gambler).

I have alot of great memories from those summers. Todd & Tony Paton (Barry Paton's sons) still keep in touch. In fact, we were all together for the first time in about 15 years in Sept. 2008 at the ZMAX race in Concord, NC. I live about 25 minutes from there on Lake Norman. This track is amazing and well worth traveling too for next year for those that are thinking about it. I have a picture of the three of us and I will try to post.

Do you have any comments?

What a terrific website! I recognize every car on these pages.....what an incredible flashback. I spoke to my parents this morning and they just found out about this site. I know my Dad is digging out the photo albums as we speak. I am sure he will have a lot of terrific pics coming your way.
