After so many years it was a great discovery to find all these pictures and videos. A very special moment indeed. Ekaterina Katia was and is the most elegant and beautiful ice skater ever. She was like a ballerina on the ice, having always a smile on her face. I always admired her for her perfect performance and her manner to be.

i am doing a book report on ekaterina and this website helped a lot. i read katias book, my sergei. it a really good book and easy to do a book report on. i got a bit confused on all of the coaches they had and the competitions they went to. this helped so much to straighten that out. i also had to find out a little bit of info about katia after the book was written and this agve me that info with out me having to search.

Hi Kata it's your fan MayLyn and I whant to tell you how I started to skate and how you became my favorite skater of all time. I wached the Snowden On Ice show at age 5 and thats how my love for skating started... and I wanted to try it for myself and I did on July 24 of 2001. Kata you are my favorite skater because you are a sweet person and you are so graceful when you skate and I hope that someday I can skate like you and meet you when you come to Utah. I will be passing my pre pinimanary test in October and I can't wait to be on the top levels of skating! I read your books My sergi and A letter for Dara and they tuched my hart soooo much about your beloved Sergi that died but you know you will see your loved ones again and it's true. I just enjoyed learning about you and your sweet little girl Dara. Kata I love you and I hope for the best for you and I will be praying for you and Dara because I do care about you and your child very much. Kata you are such a kind person and thats what I love about you that you care about others and not yourself. Kata I pratice at the South Davis Rec Center in Bountiful Utah twice a week and I have inproved my side ways leg grab that I got to do it at the Copper Cup Figure Skating Champenships and I won the gold and I was so happy and so was my coach Kathy Valburg. My dream is to become a professional figure skater and since I have the best blades and boots and a coach I know that someday I will skate just as professional as you and I can't wait for that day to come in my life. 13 years after Sergei's passing, I've only just discovered the greatness of the Gordeeva & Grinkov pair. They have captured my heart and I am so touched by their performances, as I've never seen anything like it. I have spent the past few days catching up on what I've missed of this wonderful pair and their very special love. I'd like to say thank you to this website for sharing their unique talent and love for all to see. I would also like to give my warmest wishes to Katia, and Daria who is amazingly just like her father - you wouldn't be able to tell the difference comparing their childhood photos!

Замечательный сайт!!!! Я очень немного знала об этой паре. Катей я заинтересовалась после программы "Ледниковый период", она замечательная фигуристка. А потом мама сказала, что она была лучшей в паре со своим супругом, который умер. Я стала искать информацию о них, а увидев как Катюша и Сергей катались....влюбилась в эту пару окончательно и бесповоротно. Они действительно лучшие и я не думаю, что кто-то сможет их затмить. Они навсегда останутся в истории спорта как самая красивая, романтичная, талантливая и сильнейшая пара! Непобедимая пара!
