Hi Sir Lou, I\'m a video researcher. We are creating a Filipino documentary for Netflix. I saw a Youtube video titled Manila Nostalgia Dewey Boulevard, produced by Lou Gopal. I was wondering if we can get your permission to use some footage. Rest assured we will credit you as our source. |

I\'m a student of UST and most of my classes are in the Main Building. I greatly value the study of history, my uni being a historical site, and seeing the wartime photos feel otherworldly, bizarre almost. I know where those spots are at the back of my hand then quickly realizing thousands of lives changed in that instance. To think UST being turned as an internment camp saved it from annihilation from the war. |

My grandfather, Carl (Charlie) Goebel was interned at STIC, where he passed 5 days before the camp was liberated. He was born in Brooklyn, and managed the Pacific Commercial Company in Manila. Would you have any information about him? My grandmother\'s family (Kyburtz) owned a jewelery store in Manila called \"El Zenith\". |

Hi Lou. I\'m a history professor and graduate student from UP Diliman. We are currently discussing online sources and I\'ll be reporting about Manila Nostalgia. The photographs that include on your posts are particularly impressive and it would be interesting to know how you acquired that collection. We hope you would be willing to share that information with us, as well as the sources that you referred to in writing your narratives. Thank you very much. |

Where can I find information regarding commerce/businesses in Manila around 1920-21. A distant relative of mine operated Lyric Music House, Inc., a small retail music store, around that time. Thank-you! Stuart Uggen (retired music teacher) |

My father, Buck Parfet, and his parents Moonie and Hank Parfet, of Golden, Colorado, were interned at Santo Tomas for almost 3 years. My father was in high school when he was interned, and my grandfather was the manager of a mine near Baguio. They later joined him when they found out he was there. I would love to know if anyone remembers them. Thank you. |
