I was on Memorial headed towards Lebanon. There was a cyclist pinned under the back end of a pickup. This was in,the left lane. There was a car with crash damage in the right lane.

The cyclist looked like a construction laborer heading to work. I didn't stop because there were other people there calling police etc. I would have only added to the confusion.

A driver really only has 2 tasks. 1. Keep it between the lines and 2. Don't hit anything in front of you.

Apparently being in a hurry is a,good enough excuse to not pay attention and run over a cyclist.
