My great grandmother was Bessy Hall nee O\'Brien. She was married 1850. I have a reference to Bessy Hall age 50 died in Bawnboy 1869. GRO ref: 3/38 I think. I did not find the gravestone inscription on your site, but hope to find it. Her husband was said to be from Co. Cavan so I am hoping to find it and that it is my family. I also looked at Catholic inscriptions.

My Great great great grandfather was Robert KELLS born 1699 and died 1805. He is buried at the Templeport Parish Church. Not sure if St Peter's is the same. I believe he was a Pastor at the church. I am hoping to visit in 2012.

Visited Templeport Burial Ground 2009 and it had been well looked after by workers on a government scheme. My relative's grave is the ' first ' on the right from the entrance.

Offer

Dear friends!

Our vocal ensemble “HERMITAGE” a cappella (voice only) consisting of six professional singers ( 6 male ) from Russian Orthodox churches, choirs and opera companies addresses here to all lovers and to all experts of the Christian vocal tradition and of the Russian Orthodox church music and singing in all corners of the world.

We are trying to bring together friends of such historical art and culture by singing in ecumenical worships traditional liturgical Russian hymns like Gloria, Alleluia, Sanctus, Lord’s prayer etc. using masterpieces of the famous Russian composers such as P.Tchaikovsky, S.Rahmaninov,D.Bortniansky and others. Our concerts last about one hour (in case of two-part concerts 1,5 hors including a short interval). The first part of our concert consists of Russian Orthodox sacred music, the second part is Russian folk songs.

In spite of the fact that our audience can not always understand Russian the people are frequently moved by the beauty of the melodies.

We have already achieved our success in various countries as France, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Australia, the USA, Canada, South Africa, Holland, the U.K.

In Spring 2008 and Autumn 2008 we are planing to visit Ireland again and we should be grateful for your kind assistance in promoting this initiative in Ireland.

We ask You not to be angry with us because of our using You e-mail, we have unfortunately no other means. In every case of interest please get in touch with us. We are waiting for your kind request and remain always at your service.
