The honor of receiving a call to ministry is an incredible responsibility, yet very rewarding. Every person who visits this site is another opportunity to effect changes in a person's life. I truly hope everyone who views this will look at their own life, and look for the ministry God has placed on you! We all have one, you know. God doesn't put "ministry" in a box, and call it "pastor", "singer", "Sunday school teacher." Your ministry may be sending cards to people who have been sick, or calling those who have missed church to see if they are all right, it could be even chaperoning a teen event. The list is endless.
A ministry, in my own words, is the gift God has given each individual to help fulfill the Great Commission Jesus gave the disciples. He said to "...go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 27:19-20 NIV). Find your gift. Share it with others, and email me and let me know if this has somehow inspired you.
God bless you and keep you...My favorite promise verses:
Isaiah 49:15 "...I will not forget you. See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;..."
I don't think you can get any more personal attention than this. Listen to "The Fire" on www.cdbaby.com/rosser . This song is all about faith in God's promises... "...now I'm not afraid He he has redeemed my soul...He has called me by my name and I am His, I've walked through the fire, but I've never been burned."
Also, remember this:
ISA 43:1-3 "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;"
It just doesn't get any better than that.
The purpose for your life is to fulfill the purpose God has given to you through your own personal ministry...seek His face!

Thank you for your encouraging comments on my review. I was blessed and my heart smiled to hear that your grand-daughter enjoyed the songs that she was hearing. The youth have my heart. I will keep you, your grand-daughter and your ministry in my prayers. God bless. “Success is not to be measured by the position someone has reached in life, but the obstacles he has overcome while trying to succeed.” Booker T. Washington May God continue to give you revelations to guide you through. -Absolute |
