Visual Instructions for games

I got my box of card games through right start back when I was still homeschooling my children. We already had Math U See that we loved but I wanted some great math games. The problem is that when I got the game instruction book I didn't understand most of what it was saying. I ended up only using the games that where shown on the DVD that came with the instructions. Fast forward 7 years later I now homeschool my own grandchildren who uses Math U See, since that was what my daughter was raised on, and help tutor some other kids that are in public school. I would like to use all of my card games. I have since bought all of the manipulatives that I use mainly with my public school kids but don't ask me why I can't seem to get the game instructions. Are there any you tube videos that go over all the games? I am a visual learner myself so this would rally help.

Right Start you could really make a killing with youtube videos on your games or instruction if you charged a low monthly or yearly subscription.

Re: Visual Instructions for games

Hi, Laurie.

Thank you for your post. I am sorry for the delay in responding. I worked a convention this past weekend and am a little behind in my work! :-)

Anyway, we do have several videos available to help you see the games in action. Here is a link to our pre-recorded webinars: https://rightstartmath.com/resources/pre-recorded-webinars/ Scroll down a little until you see, 'Math Card Games'. There are quite a few math card games demonstrated on those videos.

In addition, we have a number of blogs written with detailed instructions and pictures to help you learn how a math card game is played. Here is a link to the blog page: https://rightstartmath.com/blog/ You can click on the 'Card Games' tab on the right side under 'categories' and filter in only the math card game blogs.

Thank you for the suggestion on the YouTube video idea. I will forward it to the team.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to post them here or you can email RightStart Math directly at info@rightstartmath.com.

Have a great day!
Rachel
