place value cards

I am curious if the place value cards have improved since we bought ours many, many years ago. We have two sets, but both are really hard to pick up when they're spread out (due to wrong side being beveled) and many of the numbers have flaked off so they're really hard to read. Granted, 10 kids have used them so far!

I'd like to replace them if those issues have been addressed.

Thanks!

Re: place value cards

Hi, Marti!

The Place Value Cards are still plastic. They are not beveled. I have used RightStart Math for 12 straight years. I have gone through a couple of sets simply because I have lost a number or two and on one of the batches, some of the numbering peeled off. I just used a permanent marker to color in the numbers.

As there is free shipping, you would only need to pay for the Place Value Cards. Here is a link to them: http://store.rightstartmath.com/place-value-cards/

If you would like to print them instead, on your own paper or cardstock, here is a link to some of the manipulatives that you can print and cut out: http://rightstartmath.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/RightStart-Math-Set-Super-Saver-2017-1.pdf

I hope that helps! If you have any further questions, feel free to repost here or email RightStart Math directly at info@rightstartmath.com.

Have a great school year!
