Is there info anywhere for using the math balance to solve equations with a variable? It seems like a good fit, but I haven't figured out how exactly to do it. Did instructions for this come with the math balance? Mine is 8 years old, so I'm sure any instructions are long gone. :-)

The math balance came with instructions that shows how to solve various types of equations. The activities listed on the instructions are: Balancing with two weights, Balancing with three weights, Partitioning (or splitting) ten, Fifteen on the Math Balance, Multiplication, Communitive property, Distributive property, and combining two equations.
