Level C Lesson 82 Review - parallelograms, rhombuses, rectangles
My DD7 doesn't understand what characteristics make a parallelogram, rhombus, and rectangle. I need to review these sections, but what lessons specifically teach these? I think she didn't learn these well because there wasn't much other than a definition provided for them. What lessons can I repeat with her to get better comprehension? Thanks.

Hi, Carola.
Lesson 73 has a review of parallelograms and rhombuses. There is a Note box on page 149 that says, 'The common name of rhombus is diamond'. There is also another note on page 148 that says, 'A parallelogram by definition is a 4-sided figure with 2 sets of parallel lines. I point that out because sometimes I forget to look at the note boxes!!!! :-)
