It is not imperative that you get the worksheets to do the Activities For AL Abacus program. However, many of the activity lessons include a worksheet. The worksheet is a good measuring tool to see if your child understands the concept and can apply the concepts being taught to paper.

Someone told me that the worksheets are the same as in the Al Abacus book on the side of the page, so I didn't need them. I believe it was Mrs. Cotter who told the lady that got me started in RS that we didn't need them. I sure this is true because I wanted to make sure i had everything to get started and I'm trying to work through this book myself and was wondering if they completely understand?
