I got the math games afor my sons 6 and 7. Now my daughter 3 wants to use the abacus, she is counting the beads up to 10. I tell her not to count but group them depending on the number I say.
Is it bad that she counts the beads, I know she is small but she loves to do all kind of seating work.
I don't want her to get confused later on when I start to encourage more grouping than counting in the abacus.
Should I be concern?? Any comments will be appreciated. Thanks.
