On p. 275, it states, "Note: The figure with a 2 by 2 square in it, as shown below, will need an extra cut shown by the dotted line." Four pictures are then shown with 3 different cuts. Below the pictures, it states, "This figure also needs to be cut on one of the dotted lines shown."

Is the second statement a reiteration of the first quote? If I make 1 cut, 2 cuts, or 3 cuts, I'm still left without a box. What am I misunderstanding?
