Re: transition lessons for level C

The "correct" answer to your question is "however long it takes your daughter to complete them." Every child is different, so some will complete several lessons a day and others won't even complete one lesson each day. RightStart is supposed to be used at the child's pace. We spent the whole year on the transition lessons and still aren't done. However, I was using RightStart along with another math program (not recommended). The transition lessons are going to have concepts repeated when you are in Level C, so you might not want to belabor certain concepts if it seems the child understands basically what is being taught. Re: transition lessons for level C

Amy,

Thank you for your message. The transition lessons are a total of 34 lessons. However this number changes depending on what level your child will be starting RightStart at.

For your daughter who is looking to begin with Level C, she should complete the first 22 transition lessons in order to prepare her. As far as the time frame, I would advise not to rush her through the lessons since she will need a solid RightStart foundation before she begins. On average if you take all 22 lessons and plan on doing one per day, this would take 22 days. There is a possibility that you can do more than one lesson per day, therefore the length of time it takes to complete the required lessons would be shortened.

I hope this helps you make a decision of what to do, please let me know if you have further questions.

Make it a great day,

Cassie
