Cotter Tens Fractal Level B

How do I complete this lesson? My daughter is schooling at home and is not in a co-op. Can we still complete it without the extra people or should I skip this one? Thanks.

Re: Cotter Tens Fractal Level B

Hello,

Yes, you can complete it in a homeschooling environment.

If you are like me, it will take nine school days to complete it, and it counts as art too!
With my first born, and a crawling child, I pretty much did all of the cutting and gluing myself. I did most of the Big triangle and then added my child for the last big “hundred” triangle. It took forever.

But I saved it and only had my next two do a big triangle to get the feel for it, and then taped up the rest of the triangles I had saved. This saved me days from having to do it again. We leave it up for about 6 weeks and refer to it often. I found the first week or so the children really don’t understand what is going on. Around the third week they start to get the hang of what it means. By the end they are on their own referring to the chart.

I really recommend that parents leave it up and refer to it often; also, take a picture of it and send it to info@alabacus.com , with permission to post it on our website.
We would love to start collecting pictures of these.
