Level A - Working Great. . .What's next?

I just wanted you to know how wonderful your program has been with my daughter. We started RS in late August and are on lesson 40 now. She really does well with the presentation - hands on learning, and multiple ways to understand a problem. When we hit a bump we pause for a couple of days to let things absorb and then pick it up again.

I am expecting that we will be done with this level by the end of Nov - early Dec. I guess that we would move straight into Level B for the second part of the year, but I don't want to move too fast and start getting frustrated. We do plan to continue schooling through the summer as well. What do you recommend?

Dear Shannon,
That is wonderful news. Thanks so much for sharing with us.

How old is your daughter? That will help me formulate the best answer for you.

Hi Nancy,

Hailey is 5. She will be six in March.

After Level A is Level B

Shannon,

I had a response posted to you, however upon conversations with Dr. Cotter, I am modifying my post.

When you are done with Level A, go right into Level B. There are 20 lessons in Level B that you may skip when coming from Level A and they are marked in the Table of Contents. The lessons are designed to be done daily. There are some lessons that will take more than one day, however they are marked.

Like Level A, the games will be introduced in the lesson plans so you will know what games to play when. If you daughter wants to play more games, play older games or, if you have the Math Card Games book, play games earlier in the chapter.

We are delighted to hear your daughter is doing well with RightStart. It sounds like you both are having fun. Hailey is the perfect age to be doing Level B!
