Jacob Lilly was born in 1812 [don't know where] about 1833 he married Desire Bodine probably in Northumberland Co., PA. They moved to Pickaway Co., Ohio. He is buried there, dying in 1857. He was listed as deacon of the Lutheran church in Pickaway in 1834. I cannot find Jacob in the 1850 census. I find a William Lilly and his descendants in Circleville, Pickaway co. in 1860 forward. Several generations were dentists in the area. A William Lilly, probably the same as above, is found in Andover, Ashtabula, Ohio in 1850, age 24, a blacksmith living as a boarder in the home of another blacksmith.

I am trying to trace all the descendants of my ancestors, Jacob and Nancy Bodine, Desire Bodine's parents. I would appreciate any information anyone has on this family.
