My fathers name is Theodore Roosevelt Lilly, born 1905 in Pennsylvania. The best info I have is that his father was William Lilly, also born in Pennsylvania, married to Bertha Scherz(?)of Germany.
I've been told the reason we were named Theodore Roosevelt is that my grandfather rode with the Rough Riders. I am searching for any documentation to prove this.
