My grandmother was Melva Juanita Lawson (married to Arnold Webster Lawson). Her maiden name was Cox. She always told me her mother died when she was 9, she had take care of her younger sibling(s) after that. My great uncle Curtis comes to mind. I was told my great grandma was Minerva Ann (or Anne?) Lilly. I'm not sure where my grandmother was born but my only remembrance is of being in Glen Jean, between Oak Hill and Beckley. If anyone could expand on this I'd appreciate it.

I have a Minerva An. Lilly in my family history book who married a Charles H. Akers. This however is all the information i do have so far. She was the daughter of WILLIAM H. LILLY AND LUCINDA LILLY.
