Fished Norton Reservoir Sat AM Sep 26. Mark J. and I launched at 6am and paddled his canoe through the smoke on the water to his honey hole. We rigged black senkos with slide weights and had immediate success. Mark J. blew his first one but landed three more the biggest being 4 1/2 lbs. My biggest weighed in at 6 lbs using the kg-lbs conversion scale! I caught another over 3 lbs and another lb'r as well as four white perch and a pickeral with a white spinner bait. What a day to remember!
