Meg, Suzy, and I hopped on the newly named Tacha Saturday morn and were off to Quinsig for a mornin of fishing and relaxing....The college crew races had taken over the lake so we went to ole faithful....CHAUNCE
Spawning beds were everywhere and a few fish were seen cruisin the shallows.....the bite was slow for toppies, senks, cranks, jigs, and spinners....then Meg kicked it off around 10am with a 4 pound larry....bout an hour later, i picked one out of the shallows tipping the scales at 4 as well!!! after changing the black/blue senko, my first cast with an orange landed the fish....reminding me to alwatys change the presentation when the bite is slow!
CONGRATS TO BRI on our new OHOTY leader (12 pound striper is the new mark)
