Superbowl Sunday should be a nice day on Forest Lake for a derby and some fun! My neighbor has cleared out an area right out in front of my house for skating. From looking out there this weekend, most of the ice fishermen are on the other side of the lake trying for the big salmon and trout that were stocked late last year. The town drained the lake a bit before the ice formed so it is pretty low right outside my house. The good fishing should be on the other side of the lake on sunday. Looking forward to our first Icehole event on Forest and hopefully we can make this an annual thing!
