I'd like to find out more about my Grandfather's time in the Buffs. He joined 24/7/1940 (the 9th Battalion I believe) and left on 20/12/1943, when he transferred to the DLI. He was rightly proud to have served in both the Buffs and the DLI. I've been very fortunate to find out quite a lot about his time in the DLI, but I know very little about his time in the Buffs.
