Here is a link to photos I've posted on my own website related to Pierre Vanasse, who came to Spring Valley, Pierce County, Wisconsin on or before 1864 and married Virginia Akers, daughter of William D. and Mary Akers.

The daughter of Pierre and Virginia was Julia Vanasse, who married Evro M. Becket of Seattle, my grandfather. Their son Robert came to Hawai'i in the navy shortly before Pearl Harbor and married my mother, Marietje Schaafsma.

I'd love to obtain more information about Pierre and his line.
