Caught a wheel just 1.5 miles from the end. Re-fractured the partial union of an old clavicle fracture and left a significant amount of skin on Richland. Thank you to all who helped me get cleaned up afterward!
On the upside:
I am leaving on a trip, so I have several days off and wasn't going to ride this weekend anyway.
I wanted a new helmet even before it got crunched.
I felt very strong... right up until I kissed the asphalt.
