Would hitting a squirrel cause a crash? I was coming down a hill at around 28 mph and a squirrel came out in my path. I decided against hitting the brakes, but felt rather wobbly as I swerved to avoid the varmit.
i've hit less and bled. but i'm a road harazd in and of myself.
what a second, you can not hit a squirrel while riding your bike, it's impossible. they always perform some kinda secret ninja training at the last second by misdirecting you with their fluffy tails and performing areial acrobatics.
a car on the other hand hits everything! there is not enough bright clothing in the day to avoid them. i say we start a coalation that elminates both cars and head winds.
since smilies seem the fashinable thing to do:

I know for a fact that you can actually hit a squirrel while bike riding. Several years ago some of us were coming down Petty Gap Road near Woodbury when a squirrel ran across the road with an acorn in its mouth. One of our group did run over the squirrel, he dropped his nut , dusted himself off and ran across the road. He appeared to be pretty upset about losing the nut but it did happen. Just ask AB if you don't believe me!
