April 23rd Big South Fork 45 mile fun ride

Just FYI -

The Big South Fork Bike club is hosting a 45 mile fun ride on April
23rd at the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area near
Oneida,TN. It is about a 2 hour drive from the eastern end of
Nashville.

The ride leader is Bryan Wender. You can contact him at
Bryan_Wender@nps.gov. I think he currently is planning on leaving
the Bandy Creek Visitor Center around 9am EASTERN time, but you might
want to verify that with him. The route will be a combination of
singletrack, doubletrack, some gravel, and some horse trail. If any
of you know Sam Poyner, he is somewhat familar with this route..he
led one of his famous Mail Runs up here a couple of years ago on
about the same route. Bryan will introduce you to some new trails
that have only recently been opened up to bikes...before they were
hiking only.

We are expecting riders from Knox, Chatt, and Somerset, KY. Would be
glad to have your club join us....this is merely a group ride, not a
race.

Thanks
