I just bought a new bike (so excited!!) and was going to buy a computer for it. Any suggestions about what type, there are wireless now and I was wondering if they worked well. Connie
It depends on how many bells and whistles you want and what you need it to do. A good basic Cateye computer that will give you speed, avg., distance-trip and total miles will run between $20 and $30 (wired), wireless is a bit more. If you buy from MOAB don't forget to ask for your club member discount before checking out.

Hey, Connie. Glad you got the new bike. Call and let's ride so I can see it. Cary is right on the computer. Just depends on what you want and what you wish to spend. I don't need alot of extras on mine, but I did go with the wireless-just because of the cleaner look. You don't have wires wrapped around the fork, etc. The wired one works just as well and cost about half. I prefer Cateye but there are many good brands. Hope to see you soon.
I want a simple computer and I didn't know if the wireless worked well or if they had a lot of interference. I will call you and we'll ride again. I need to get use to the shoes and new pedals, so I don't kill myself.
