I notice there are several rides on the calendar that start in the morning on weekdays and weekends both, but never before 8am, am I the only one who gets out early to beat the heat?

DavyMc has a point! Everybody is retired. No schedules. So just go bed. Get your sorry self up. Ride. Beat the heat. See the world at its first very best. Take a nap. Repeat.

And yes, I admit that I am a morning person and up at 5 anyway every bleeping day.

I'm with you David Mc! I'm just the opposite of a bear - I hibernate during the summer. I much prefer early morning rides. Come ride with us This Saturday, June 10 - we start at 7:30 a.m.

Sadly I didn't see either of these posts in time to do anything about joining in. I'm not a avid social media user to begin with and this forum has been low on the priority list since it didn't seem to get much use.
