There are now orange barrels going up on Hwy 99 between Rockvale Elementary and the west end of Old Rockvale Road just before Ditch Lane - I've reached out to TDOT to find out what the construction will be and the estimated timeline - stay tuned.
That's one of my main riding routes - and I'm sure many of you ride out that way as well - so will try to find out what to expect.
Heard back from TDOT - resurfacing is scheduled to begin on July 6 and last until early August for that 6 mile stretch of 99 between the Elementary School and the west end of Rockvale Road just before Ditch. Probably want to avoid that area for a few weeks.
