Just bragging a bit: I went out to climb Dug Hollow. I marked a spot where the ciimb started, rode to the top and reversed direction, back to the marked spot. I wanted to average 16MPH on the whole trip, but only averaged 8 on the climb. When I got back to the start, I had averaged 16! I think I deserve a pat on the back.
We can try similar from Parsley's up Dickens and back down. There is a rusty bug on the left that can serve to mark the turn around and will keep us off the rough on Hollow Springs.
Let's do somewhere between 30 & 40 rolling at 10:00 Saturday. I'll look for a route.
I hate to break it to you, but I lied. This is a math problem in disguise. To climb one mile at 8MPH takes 7.5 minutes. To ride 2 miles at 16MPH takes 7.5 minutes. Thus the descent would have to take 0 time.
