These are some of my favorite roads. Restrooms at the restaurant on Hwy 41 and at the Civil War graveyard by the interstate.

The store is in Beechgrove at the start. Pack food and water because the store is inconvenient during the ride.

Park in the church lot next to the store. The store owners are nice. Buy something.

We can stop on the road and eat at the closed store slightly past mi 21 or at the bottom of the hill (mi 25 by Houston Thomas Rd.

The routes stay together until they the short ride branches at mi 25 (Houston Thomas).

I'd like to ride the 33 mile loop, but need more miles. I'm thinking of parking at Buchanan Elementary and riding down from there, 15 miles. Anyone interested?

I figure to leave BES around 7:55, average 16-18, so will get to the church around 8:50, barring trouble.

Going north of 41 on Cedar Grove, wandering around a bit, then coming back to 41 About half the route will be on Highway 41.

I cleaned up a couple of extraneous way points and changed the title so we'd know that we're looking at a slightly different route - no major changes but hopefully a little less confusing at the intersections.

I look forward to the 50 mile ride. The clean and well maintained restrooms are the work of the Sons of Confederate Veterans in the Beech Grove Confederate Cemetery.
