Hello, I'm Jaden Banks and I want to get into road cycling and try a new sport. I'm starting from scratch. I don't have a bike but I'm saving up to get one. Are there any tips and advice that anyone could give me?

Jaden, you have come to the right place to get started. Murfreesboro Bike Club is a very active group and you can pick a lot of experienced brains here. MOAB bike shop is another place to visit. Explain what you would like to do and they can help you get started. Don't get a department store bike, they just aren't the quality that you can get at a real bike shop. A good used bike from a reputable shop such as MOAB is a better option than a new bike from a box store. They can set you up with a bike that fits you rather than getting a bike and hoping to make you fit it. Check out the message board frequently here and don't be afraid to ask question.
