Has anyone heard about a hit and run this weekend?
I can't find anything on the news or the Internet, but . . . I received word from a co-worker this morning that there was a hit and run of a cyclist over the weekend. The cyclist's name is Mike Mathis (sp?) and he's from the Centertown area (Warren County, TN). He was found unconscious on the side of the road by a passing motorist. Head and shoulder trauma.
Has anyone heard any details of the incident? Where? When? How?

That is true. He is a friend of mine. It was a hit and run. A nurse passing by found him on the side of the road. He has a broken collar bone, severe concussion, and 8 staples in his head. He is in the trauma unit at Vanderbilt. He was riding on the 4 lane highway between McMinnville and Woodbury. His bike was found about 50' away from him. No one really knows much past that about the accident.
