I want to reassure those of you who saw Michel looking bloody and beaten up on Burks' Hollow Rd today that he is OK! He hit some debris going downhill and went onto the road and into the downhill brush. Road rash and a hand full of random stitches is the worst of it - no broken bones or internal injuries. He tried to tumble as or roll as he fell and it must have worked.
Thanks for the all the help and concern. Janey and David's concern was the most touching and consequential (for them). Ask them about it sometime.
So glad he's okay! He sure was a bloody mess - and that helmet made me so very grateful that he was wearing it. Let us know if you or Michel need anything at all.
