Last Minute Details about the26th HOT 100

Good afternoon.

Just wanted to give you a update on the HOT 100. There have been a few obstacles to overcome this year and in lieu of that some changes to our standard operating procedures.

We will not have access to Lascassas Elementary School on Friday night. All volunteers should plan to pick up their volunteer t-shirts at Moab Bike Shop between 3:00 and 7:00 PM on Friday. We are trying to keep traffic at the school Saturday morning to a minimum so if you can't make it to Moab, arrange to get someone else to pick up your shirt. Rest Stop Captains can help for rest stop workers. Please contact your team leader if you need assistance. We wold like all rest stop volunteers to go directly to their rest sop on Saturday morning.

The following Rest Stops will load supplies at Lascassas Baptist Church on Saturday morning starting at 5:00 AM.
Milton, Arnold Farm, Watertown. Delivery truck drivers and rest stop captains will pick up supplies.

The following rest stops will load supplies at Lascassas Elementary School Saturday morning starting at 7:30 AM. Hollow Springs and Readyville. Kittrell Fire Hall Will load from LES at 11:00 AM.

Packet pickup and registration will be held at MOAB bike shop Thursday afternoon from 12-6 PM and Friday from 3-7 PM. Riders can also register at MOAB. Early packet pickup folks will be automatically registered to WIN a Saris Bike Rack. Packet pick can hopefully relieve some traffic and confusion at the school Saturday morning.

Riders that don't make packet pick up can get their packets on Saturday morning. Onsite registration also begins at 6:00 AM.

The weather forecast looks perfect for Saturday. Should be a great day for a bike ride. Thanks to all the volunteers who are making this HOT 100 a success.

That's quite inconvenient for all the volunteers. Why not have the T-shirts at the school? Yes, I'll pick them up if needed, but I need to know before 6:00 pm tonight!

Re: Last Minute Details about the26th HOT 100

We took the shirts that were not picked up at Moab to to the school for volunteers to get there. Someone turned in two shirts that were not used. If you want one I will gladly give it to you.

I sent the instructions for t-shirt pickup to all the team leads so that they could forward to their group. If you missed this information, I apologize.
