Terry was participating in RAIN (Ride Across Indiana) this weekend, and had a bad crash. I heard from him this morning and he gave me this update:
"In St. Thomas Hospital (Midtown aka Baptist) with 3 broken ribs, pelvic fracture, massive road rash, and broken thumb requiring surgery" and as any good cyclist "hope to be back on the road later this year". And he said his new bike was OK.

I visited with Terry and his wife Susan yesterday evening (Monday). He was going to surgery that evening to have pins placed in his right thumb. Once he's recovered from that, he is hopeful that he will transfer to the Inpatient Rehab unit there at St. Thomas Midtown (formerly known as Baptist) - for some intensive rehab to get him walking again.
Terry was in good spirits and said to tell everyone hello. He hopes to be back on the bike this fall.
