Stakeholders Inteview - 5:00, July 8 - Smyrna Town Center
Members of the Murfreesboro Bike Club have been invited to sit down for a stakeholders interview session with the consultants who are working on the Rutherford County Comprehensive Plan.
Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB) in association with Regan-Smith Associates, Bill Terry & Associates and the MTSU Business and Economic Research Center is the consulting team for the project.
The Comprehensive Plan is a major undertaking and will become the policy foundation for all future planning in the unincorporated areas of Rutherford County. A Comprehensive Plan is a means of esttablishing a long-term community vision by looking 15 to 20 years into the future,
determining needs, setting goals and objectives, and formulating policies that direct future development to be consistent with that vision.
Date of the interview is July 8 at 5:00 prior to the
6:00 p.m. Smyrna Towne Centre Open House meeting.
Please let me know as soon as possible if you are will be participating.
This is a great opportunity for our voice to be heard and to be a part of the long term planning for our rural riding areas.
