The Sanofi-aventis road race in Johnson City, TN (more famously known as the Roan Groan) races up Roan mountain ending in an 8.5 mile 7% climb. No problem: Parri Gilbride won that race, plus the time trial. Oh yeah, she won the Cat 4 crit, too. Parri swept the omnium in a tough field. That's four road races in a row that Parri has won; not bad for your first year racing.
Tony Adair also stepped on the men's cat 5 podium placing 3rd in the road race and 4th in the time trial. Tony & Parri were the only team OS riders that took the long journey to JC, but we're glad they did.
Steve McAuley finished 4th in his class at the Mousetail Cahllenge MTB race in Linden, TN. Steve is staging another very compeitive season in the dirt.
