A couple of ol' MBC buds asked me to update this thread on my broken neck/progress, so here goes:

I have ridden 1100 slow miles (12-13 mph avg.) since the halo brace was removed on 15 January. The docs say that I am being "impatient" because I think my strength is too slow returning. They say it takes a full year to recover from a trauma as serious as mine
