Came back home this morning around 6 am and the power is back on. We were so lucky yesterday as less then 2 blocks from us homes are gone and 2 lost their lives.
I went through this as a young boy in Illinois and it is still a scary and humbling experience.
The response of the emergency teams, power company, police, etc. was so outstanding yesterday!!

Yes, the emergency crews have all been fantastic. They have been working nonstop since Friday afternoon--clean-up crews, Murfreesboro electric, the gas company, the police, and Red Cross volunteers (who even delivered Easter baskets to the kids on Sunday). Thank you!!!
