Everyone ok in the borough?

Re: Everyone ok in the borough?

If anybody knows where volunteers or other help is needed, please post it.

Re: Everyone ok in the borough?

I heard they had enough volunteers at Walter Hill, but were getting some together at Blackman Elementary. Check on Radio 1450 - they are doing a fabulous job of updating emergency needs and describing the damage.

Hope all are well and safe. We are good at our house. If anyone needs a place to stay we have two extra bedrooms and a sleeping space in the bonus room.

Re: Everyone ok in the borough?

Stevens are fine. Anyone heard from Larry Tolbert or Cary Way? I know they both live very near some of the worst hit areas.

Re: Everyone ok in the borough?

Sarah Way Sykes posted on Facebook that her folks were fine, didn't have electricity and were going to Sarah's to stay for a while.

Re: Everyone ok in the borough?

and I heard from Paul Disbennet who lives off Compton. He is fine as well.

Re: Everyone ok in the borough?

I spoke with Martha at work...everything ok at their place, but a couple of doors down, not good. No power at their house.

Re: Everyone ok in the borough?

John, Lynn and Paige and the house are all ok. everything around us is a mess.

Tolberts Are Fine

Just spoke with Larry and he says to let you all know he and Martha are all fine. No significant damage to his home but the houses all around him are gone. He doesn't expect to have electricity for a couple more days - but wanted to let you all know they are good. And Mother Tolbert is fine too.

Re: Tolberts Are Fine

No damage to our home but several friends nearby lost everything. BTW, no electicity for 30 hours, living in the 18th century sucks.
