The North American Handmade Bicycle Show #5 is coming to Indianapolis this year. It's the last weekend of February.

Tired of seeing the same three bikes painted different colors and/or contorted slightly for each model year? Would you like to see hundreds of handmade frames and meet dozens of builders? Mostly traditional, sometimes altogether different-any material and sized to fit each individual rider, it's all there. The old guard builders and the up-and-comers will converge and conversate at Indy (the closest it may ever get to TN)-you can too.

I'll be there. DW is building a tandem track ride at this moment (ol' DW is Don Walker not the car dealer)--and it may be put on the track for NAHBS as there is a velodrome there.

There'll be seminars too.

And questions-just holler. I'll be going up on Thursday and coming back on Monday. Sharing the motel room with a builder from Texas and maybe one from Seattle, but can share the ride with a local.

J Peter Weigle was there last year. Fine fellow with beautiful work-and Rando specialist. Don't see him on the list for this one though--he does have quite a backlog.
