If we've thawed out I plan to lead a ride on Sat. leaving at 11 am from Lascassas. Will park'n'ride from the Baptist Church, 4750 East Jefferson Pike, close to HWY 96 intersection.
Hoping it will have warmed up some by 11 am. 35-40 miles, no one dropped, at least 2 store stops on route if needed, and one Bed'n'Breakfast.

Cary, Any chance you can suggest a bailout option of around 25 miles? I've been off the bike for a while and I felt last Sunday's 26 miler for a few too many days. No big deal if you don't have a bailout option, but let me know. If not, I'll try my best to hang on. Thanks!

Mark- I'm sure the route can be adjusted to be shorter or longer as needed. I'll work on a 25 miler for you.

My dad called just as I was about to walk out the door. He had some significant health issues this past week, so by the time we were done talking, it was too late to make the ride start. I guess I'll change out of my winter riding clothes and head down to the basement for a spin.

I hope you didn't spend too much time creating an alternate route for me. I owe you a beer either way. Have a great ride.
