You touring types may be aware of this outfit, but I just read about it last night and don't see any locals on the map.

It's called Warmshowers.org and it's simply a list (googlemaps-ized) of cyclist who'll put touring riders up for the night. Looks like a great thing.

Adventure Cycling does the same thing with their "Yellow Pages". They have good maps, etc. to for short tours to cross country tours. Check them out- our website has a link and the club has a club membership.
