rider hit on halls hill pike

I THINK THAT BEFORE YOU HOP ON A BIKE YOU SHOULD LEARN HOW TO GIVE TURN SIGNALS! OBVIOUSLY THIS GUY DID NOT. HOWEVER, I AM GLAD HIS SERIOUS WRIST INJURY IS ON THE MEND!

making a supposition aren't you?

Unless you observed the wreck, you have no way of knowing whether he signaled a turn. We make that turn frequently and making sure we don't get run over is always a major objective. Turn signals are standard...especially on a road where drivers are known to exceed the speed limit. Regardless, passing is never legal in an intersection. Having 2 roads meet like Guy James and Halls Hill do qualifies as an intersection the last time I checked. Your ignorance is showing. Have a nice day.

Re: making a supposition aren't you?

No! It was purely and ACCIDENT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was very close Thank you very much! But it is done EVERY DAY, BY EVERY BODY even by YOU so dont Judge. I know the driver feels bad enough!!!! It was not intentional.

Please click on the TAKE ACTION tab and then click on DRIVER tab after you read that, then click on the CYCLIST tab.

Yes, it was an accident, no one is saying otherwise. Most events such as this are considered accidents. Thankfully this accident did not end in death. And hopefully, lessons have been learned by all - cyclists as well as motorists.

Respect and caution are the key words to take from this unfortunate event.

Peace and healing to Jay and the driver. Now let us move on please.
