Re: Re: Re: June Newsletter????

I got mine - despite the fact I paid for my membership in Scottish pounds and live 4,000 miles away.

Re: Re: Re: Re: June Newsletter????

Hi Dave, We still miss you. How about planning a tour of Scotland? Plan and we will come. Lynn

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: June Newsletter????

Hey Lynn:

There's always an open door for any MBC riders who want to visit Scotland. There are some gorgeous views, lochs, mountains, islands, and men who wear skirts (but don't call them skirts, else they'll be at you with their Sgian Dubh).

Seriously, folks, I'll even take you to the cycle repair shop tucked up in Clachan of Campsie and introduce you to the legendary Al Gow. He's always got coffee brewing and will be glad to tell you all sorts of stories about the pro bike scene (he's even mentioned in "The Flying Scotsman", Graeme Obree's autobiography).

Glasgow and the surrounding countryside is almost as good as middle Tennessee.
