I just joined MBC last month, so pardon my ignorance but I have a couple of questions about the rides posted on the message board. Are these rides open to members only? Also, if I ride this Saturday, I will ride the shorter route, but is there a sign up sheet for the ride or do I just show up and ready to clip in at 10 AM? I am really excited about the chance to ride with other people during the week. The folks I usually ride with are only weekend riders so I have to ride by myself a lot. One last question, how long are the rides usually on Tuesday and Thursday nights? Thanks, Ralph

Ralph, you are a member in good standing. I received your membership form. And, yes, come ready to take off at 10:00 Saturday. We will all look forward to meeting you. Sarah Lovett will lead the short ride and you will have a grand time. There will be a ride sheet to sign. Be sure to plan to stay for the spaghetti lunch after.

No, you don't have to be a member to ride our club rides - so tell your friends. Everyone must wear a helmet, however.

Tuesday and Thursday rides are usually 20 - 30 miles. Distance depends on hours of daylight. Always feel free to call the ride leaders if you have questions.
