If you are willing to invest a little time in it, the 305 is a great product. If you get one, I can show you some tricks for creating maps on Google Maps and then downloading the maps to the 305. I did it for a double-century that I did one day, and never had to pull out a map once in 12 or 13 hours of riding. Very handy. If you're willing to pay more though, wait for the 705.
